Qualifying for Home HealthCare Services:
• Client has had a recent illness or injury which requires the services and skilled care of a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist/ PT/OT/ST.
• Client is under the care of a physician who has requested the treatment or services offered by Ohio First Home HealthCare, Inc. We assure ongoing care by accepting referrals from Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Extended Care Facilities, Doctor Offices and Consumers.

Skilled Nurses

Assess each client, coordinate with physicians to assure individual client needs are being met during the development of care plans. Nursing services may include, but are not limited to, medication management, pain management, IV infusion therapy, wound care, psychiatric assessment, treatment and diabetic teaching. Ohio First Home HealthCare, Inc. Nurses are dedicated to assisting our clients with obtaining optimal health, This is accomplished by utilizing a holistic approach during the provision of care.

Home Health Aides

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Home Health Aide develops a supportive, working relationship with our clients. The HHA provides personal care, assisting with ADL’s and IADL’s. The goal of the Home Health Aide is to maintain a safe environment for their client and assist them as they work towards achieving their optimal level of functioning.

Therapists

Assess, evaluate and treat clients. Working with physicians and referral sources, the therapists carries out these duties, assisting the client with a safe return to increased functioning and independence.
